What is it?

Domain investors build a portfolio of valuable domain names, and attempt to sell them at a profit. Both Sedo and Afternic offer domain marketplaces (also known as Domain Listing Services, or DLS) for investors to advertise their domains to potential buyers. Once the seller and buyer agree, the aftermarket platforms then facilitate the purchase and transfer of the domain(s). As an Enom customer, you’re entitled to list your domains for sale on Sedo, Afternic, or both at the same time. Get started

How it works

Putting domains up for sale is easy

  1. Create an account at Afternic, Sedo, or both
  2. Select the domain(s) you want listed for sale and your registrar, in this case Enom, then set your desired price
  3. Authorize Enom to allow our partners to list your domains for sale, this is referred to as "Opting In" your domains
  4. Receive a commission from Sedo or Afternic once the domain is sold

  • How long does it take to Opt-In my domains with either partner?

    To set up your username and password for the email inbox you purchased, follow these steps:

    Once you list your domains with either partner, there is an authorization process referred to as "Opt-In" before the domain is ready for sale. This process can take up to 20 minutes. If we are experiencing a high volume of Opt-In requests, the process may take up to 24 hours to complete, though this scenario is not the norm.

  • Can I delete a domain that is already listed for sale?

    Yes, you can delete a domain that is already listed for sale by going to your Premium Listing Manager on your Enom dashboard, or you can do so directly from your Sedo and Afternic accounts. If you decide to list this domain again in the future, then you will have to repeat the full listing process.

  • How do I get paid once a domain in sold via Sedo or Afternic?

    Enom does not handle the commissions paid out by our partners. All commissions will be paid directly to you by Sedo or Afternic. Visit Afternic’s FAQs or Sedo’s FAQs for more details.
