Transfer Order Detail Statuses:

Each status fits in four categories which are represented by four different icons.

Status Messages:

Transfer request created - awaiting fax: We have not received the transfer order yet. If at any time this is more than a few days old, it did not arrive to our Transfer Department for some reason. The best thing to do is send it again and mark it RUSH. You can also email it to: transfers@enom.com.

Transfer request not yet submitted: This means you have started to fill out this transfer request but have not yet submitted this order. Go to the "my domain" section, click on the order number, this will bring you to a page called "pending orders". From here you can modify an order if you haven't done so already, or you can submit it.

Transfer Pending - Awaiting Release by Current Registrar: This means our transfer system has initiated the transfer and is waiting for approval from the registry. Once an approval or rejection is received, the program will automatically handle the domain. A domain will never have this status for more than 6 days, 4 hours (this is the maximum amount of time the registry has to respond).

FAX received - awaiting registrant verification: Fax receiving and our system need to verify the registrant information provided against the Universal whois. This is an automatic process that our transfer system handles.

Awaiting manual FAX verification: This status means that we need to manually verify the registrant information. Our system could not automatically verify this and it goes into a queue and one of our transfer specialists manually looks it over and either approves or rejects it.

Transfer in Process - Acquiring Current Whois for Transfer Verification: This status means that we need to manually verify the registrant information. Our system could not automatically verify it and this order is inserted in a queue where one of our transfer specialists will then try to acquire the correct information.

Canceled - Unable to transfer due to unknown error: In this case we recommend submitting a new order with the same domain name(s). If this error continues, please contact: transfers@enom.com.

Canceled - Transfer authorization fax not received: All manual transfer orders will be canceled if we don't receive the fax within 7 days.

Canceled - Whois information provided does not match current registrant: Usually means the person signing for the transfer, is not the registrant or administrative contact. If only a company name is listed in these two places, we need to have some form of authorization on letterhead, or from the email of the registrant. This protects the company from an unauthorized employee attempting to transfer a name away. We are not able to re-submit the same transfer number, so you will need to open a new one if you would like us to re-submit the name.
